Publications

This image appears on page 64 of "Sevruguin's Iran" published by Barjesteh van Waalwijk van Doorn & Co's Uitgeversmaatschappij in Rotterdam and Zaman Publishers in Tehran. The print is titled: "Caravanserai (karavansara) with kajeveh, a kind of pannier used in pairs on camels or mules". The print has a negatvie number "149" in white ink on recto.

 

An image of the same group of men and kajeveh taken either before or after the time the photograph was taken, can be found on page 217 of  "Antonin Sevruguin: Past and Present" published by the Oriental Institute Museum Publications in 2020.
