The numbers "850" and "195" in white ink in what may be the hand of Antoin Sevruguin appears on recto in the same location as the glass negative held in the Myron Bement Smith Collection of Antoin Sevruguin Photographs held in the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery Archives. Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C. Both numbers of been scratched out in the gelatin silver print and the glass negative.

The glass negative of this image is held in the Myron Bement Smith Collection of Antoin Sevruguin Photographs held in the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery Archives. Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C. The reference number is FSA A.4 2.12.GN.29.04 and the glass negative was a gift from Katherine Dennis Smith, 1973-1985.
