A close variation of this image appears on page 225 of "Masters of 19th Century Photography, Dimitri Ermakov, Photographer and Collector" published by the Georgian National Museum in 2014. As such, we have attributed this photograph to Dimtri Ermakov.

 

The postcard is titled: "Cercueil du Schah defunt Nassr-Eddin-Schah" and "Teheran" on recto. The postcard was produced by Stengel & Co, Dresde et Berlin with the reference number 12528.
