Adolphe Braun

Adolphe Braun was an influencial French photographer and designer and began his photography career in 1853, when he initially focused on producing floral still lives, By the begiining of the 1860s, Braun's focus shifted to topographical images of Europe and extensive reproductions of works of art. Braun opened a commerical photographic studio in 1868 that became one of the world's largest publishers of such images.
